SAFETY TIPS & INSTRUCTIONS

BURNING INSTRUCTIONS
Please never leave a burning Iset candle unattended. They should only be burned on heat-resistant surfaces. Keep all candles out of reach of children, pets, curtains, decorations, blankets, or anything that is likely to burn.. As your candle burns, try to make sure the wick stays in the centre of your candle to prevent the jar cracking. Keep wicks trimmed to about 5mm before each burn to prevent smoking and carbon mushrooming.

It is important to regularly monitor the burning of your candle. Extinguish flame and let cool after approximately 3 hours of burning.

Keep candles that are lit well apart - we suggest 10cms - and make sure that they are supported and remain upright.

Keep candles away from sunlight or other sources of heat.

Always place on sturdy, heat resistant surfaces, and a large enough container to catch any drips or melted wax.

Avoid placing near drafts, vents or air currents and ceiling fans. This will help prevent rapid or uneven burning, sooting and excessive dripping.

While burning never touch or move a burning candle or when the wax is liquefied.
Don't burn a candle all the way down, for safety leave about 2 inches,1/2 an inch for containers.

Extinguish candle if the flame becomes too high or flickers repeatedly. Let candle cool, trim wick, and check for unwanted drafts before re-lighting. If you leave the room, be sure to first put out all candles.

Never blow a candle out with a hard 'puff' as this is likely to blow hot wax over the surface beneath. Make sure that no one is near the candle if you choose to blow to extinguish. Always blow gently

When extinguishing use a candle snuffer to put out flame, as its safer and prevent wax splatter and might break container.

Make sure the candle is completely out and the wick ember is no longer glowing before leaving the room.

Please don't touch or move the candle until it is completely cooled.

                                     -  NEVER LEAVE A BURNING CANDLE UNNATENDED-

Never leave children or animals alone in a room with candles that are lit or still hot. Liquid candle wax can inflict serious burns. Keep burning candles out of reach of children.
